This is one of the keywords that my blog has. I just tried to search this one in the google search engine and after that my blog came up. Nice! I am in the first page and most specially in the first line.  This is a big accomplishment also. Anyway, the other keywords that I have are still in the process of making them into the top page. I hope I can make it

I also tried to search this keyword  in Yahoo Search Engine (web expert freelancer) but it wasn’t in the first page of yahoo. Well, it is okay but when I looked in the other pages, WOW! I saw my blog again in the fourth page. Not bad

The Month of Graduation

Wow, I didn’t notice that it is already March

Hahaha! Marvin is becoming busy. Well, I have a lot of works to do. It is good to become busy and to ease boredom.  I have a few posts for February because I was too busy at that time. I need to boosts my blog analytic again and keep the readers visiting my blog. We will see that.

By the way, Thanks for the visitors and clients who visited my blog I’ll keep you posted.

Thanks also to my blog subscribers. I’ll continue to post more articles and share my knowledge  with all of you. Please do not get tired of reading my posts and I hope you learned something from me.

Anyway, back to the topic. This month is really nice even if it is becoming hot now here in our country. I remember something from this month. Oh Yeh! It is Graduation. Well, I finished this part of my life already. Wow! My younger sister is going to have her graduation this month. Congratulations! Keep it up my little sister. Go go goooo!!!

As we all know, this is another month of a big celebration for all those who are graduating in school.  I remember the feeling of having this kind of event. It was really exciting because you finished a long-term goal  which is your studies.

It is really happy when you have done something in your life that puts you to become a real human being. There’s nothing wrong with the obstacles that you had when you were in school. It is a challenge and you’ve made it to go out of it. Now you are getting the rewards from the effort you exerted. You proved that you can do it.

Are you aware of the people who usually answering in the forum with a link on their signature? or rather someone who is answering with a very generous answer that makes all happy

If not then you should know it now.

There are paid people or may I say forum posters who do these things. Well, they won’t harm you or your websites’ forum. They have a goal with search engine optimization. Up to this point, they do postings so they can make links or back links that backs to their targeted website. This is one of the strategy in SEO if you have read my earlier posts.

Forum posting is easy but it takes  a lot of time starting from searching of different forums in the internet, registration, verification, logging-in into the forum, editing your profile and adding signatures,etc..  This is really a fun tasks also but you need to plan it carefully. A lot of forums have their rules and regulations in regard with forum postings. You can try it search for a forum then read their rules and regulations about postings.

Another thing, this strategy is very helpful in search engine optimization. You can create a lot of links by doing that. We can create a lot of back links for the website that you are optimizing. There are companies offering this kind of job most specially in an online marketing company or an outsourcing company. This would be helpful also in marketing or selling your products that is in your website.

So please keep in mind that those links aren’t just a link but rather a form of strategy in an online marketing environment.

Search Engine Optimization Techniques

There are two main techniques in search engine optimization. They are the White Hat SEO and the Black Hat SEO.

Gray Hat SEO is the other technique in search engine optimization.

Let me discuss it to you…

Let’s define first the two main techniques.

White Hat SEO – This is the first technique and the good side of SEO. This is mainly focusing in the legal aspect of doing website optimization. It follows search engine guideline and it ensures that you are in the top rank of different search engines.

Black Hat SEO – This is the bad side of SEO. It is in reverse of what the White Hat SEO is doing. It attempts to bring your websites into the top search engines in an illegal way. This isn’t following search engine  guideline and may lead to penalties.  Examples are keyword spam, link spam, tag cloaking. You can see it through forum postings. Black Hat is a very dangerous technique.

The third technique is :

Gray Hat SEO – This technique is neither really a white hat nor black hat. May I say it is in the middle of those two techniques which actually helps to improve your ranking in the search engines. One of the example of it is purchasing links. There a lot of companies offering this services. Buying links just to get a link back to your website.

All of these can help you in optimizing your websites but it is up to you if what technique are you going to use. If you want to do SEO in a long-term basis and can give you a better output with no illegal acts, I am recommending White Hat SEO. If you want a short-term goal then do Black Hat SEO but take the risks of penalties that come to your way in doing this. It might be permanently and will kick you out of the search engines. Gray Hat, if you want to spend a lot of money.

Choose your technique and be in the top of different search engines.

Social Networking Sites for Web Promotions and Internet Marketing

There are a lot of social networking sites over the internet. Friendster and Facebook are some of the example of it.  We can’t deny that these two are already popular in terms of their use, features, and both are user-friendly websites. Not Millions but rather billions of people around the world are using those websites. Many are using those sites to connect to their friends, love ones, or people that they wanted to know more. These websites are also good for web promotions and internet marketing.

As I have discussed in my earlier posts, this is one strategy to do search engine optimization and search engine marketing. There are more social networking sites which are popular too like MySpace, Twitter, hi5. Actually, I have an account in those social networking websites.

Anyway, let’s define what is a Social Networking Website

It is a website that provides a virtual community for people interested in a particular subject or just to “hang out” together. Members create their own online “profile” with biographical data, pictures, likes, dislikes and any other information they choose to post. They communicate with each other by voice, chat, instant message, videoconference and blogs, and the service typically provides a way for members to contact friends of other members.

That’s my definition of social networking websites. In line with these, here is how you can use those social networking websites for web promotions and internet marketing.

1. You can create a group wherein you should put the information about what you are promoting either a business website or anything you wanted to promote and after that collect people to join your group. You must also think what you are targeting. For example: You are promoting an online game then you should invite people who have an interest with online games.

2. You can also create an application like in Facebook to promote your websites or anything. This will help you to gather people.

3. You can create a blog in that social networking websites just like in Friendster.

There are a lot of strategies and techniques you can use in those social networking websites. Be sure you are planning it smoothly and think of the long-term goal for each tasks that you are putting in those networking sites.

Understanding Link Building for Websites and Blogs

Every website or blog needs link building to get more viewers. One of the strategy in SEO is the link building. I have discussed some of it in my last posts about SEO and websites’ promotion.

There are many types of link building that an optimizer is using either it’s in the form of White Hat, Black Hat or Grey Hat Technique. It is up to the optimizer on how he will use link building. It is important that we know how to create links. We aren’t just creating several links to the other websites. We must think of  a good way in creating links. This is what we must learn, “quantity vs quality” .

One of the example of quantity links is the word ” SPAM LINKS “. A lot of black hat optimizer are creating this kind of tasks. They are just creating links to spam in the internet and even in your e-mails just to promote their websites. There are people also doing a lot of  spam links in the forum or they will do a forum and put a lot of links in every sections or threads. I hate this people spamming links and even my blog got but I deleted them already.

Quality links are those associated with quality content. Example of this is exchanging links with the other websites’ owners. You can also do link building through directory submissions. This is also one good way of getting people into your website.

There are links that might be rejected if you won’t follow the rules of the other websites. We need to do quality links rather than doing a lot of links which might be rejected forever. Spamming links are not good that’s the bad side of link building.

Anyway, let us know what are the types of link building.

Here are some of the types of link building.

1.   One Way Link Building – a link that has a start but will just end up into other websites without going back into your website. This is a road that has a start and a finish line. A= B

2.  Reciprocal Link Building – this is the most common and most widely used link building. With this, you are going to link from another website and put their website link also into your website. So A = B then B = A. We can call this also as an exchange links.

3. Three Way Link Building – unlike the reciprocal and one way link building, this type of link building is much efficient. You have a link to another website and your website is also linked to another website. A = B = C = A

4. Multi Way Link Building -  this is for web promotions and most specially if you want your website to get more viewers. This is also a technique of many website owners with a lot of websites. This refers to the link exchange is between  3 or more websites.

We can also add these techniques:

5 . Back Linking – this could be done through forum posting or directory submissions

6. Image Link Building – an image that has a URL of a website.

7. Video Posting – a link with video

8. Link Baiting – is any content or feature within a website that somehow baits viewers to place links to it from other websites. Link bait as anything “interesting enough to catch people’s attention.” Link bait could be an extremely powerful form of marketing as it is viral.

9. Forum Signature Linking – this is also included in back linking through the use of signatures.

10. Blog Commenting – by answering or commenting into different blogs and put a good links into it.

11. Social Bookmarking – this can be done by joining social bookmarking websites.

12. Social Networking – you can do this by joining social networking sites like facebook, friendster, twitter and myspace.

There a lot of techniques and strategies in link building. You can think and plan these for you to get a qualitative links.
